NYCHF is a gathering of Christians in the healthcare field dedicated to being salt and light in their workplace. This meeting we will have Tracy Balboni, MD and Michael Balboni, ThM, PhD, MDiv. Tracy Balboni is a radiation oncologist and professor of radiation oncology at Harvard Medical School (AB, Stanford University; MD, Harvard Medical School) whose research focuses on the intersection of oncology, palliative care, and the role of spirituality in life-threatening illnesses. Michael Balboni (PhD, Boston University; ThM, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary; MDiv, Westminster Theological Seminary) serves as a congregational minister in Boston and focuses his research on the theology of medicine. Together they have published several books and many academic papers on the intersection of medicine and faith. They will discuss redemptive ways of looking at medicine from a Christian worldview.

All Christians (or even people of other religions or none at all!) in healthcare are invited (medical/dental students, residents, fellows, attendings, NPs, RNs, PAs, PTs, OTs, and others).
